Off the Hook Blues Band, is a Montreal based blues quartet made up of bassist Jean-Sébastien clement, guitarist Bernie Yeo, Francis Laliberté on drums, with Mike Zablotsky on guitar and vocals putting their efforts into recreating and celebrating a century of the Blues in song – from the deep south to the wind city of Chicago.
In recent years, Off the Hook has collaborated with award winning Portuguese/Canadian Jazz singer Suzi Silva. With a strong stage presence and outstanding vocal abilities, Suzi can unmistakably deliver the blues.
With a chock-full repertoire of blues standards, jazzy instrumentals, and smoking melodies, that are guaranteed to rock the house. Off the Hook Blues Band covers a lot of musical ground, but never strays far from the warm bluesy tones of yesteryear.
For over a decade, Off the Hook Blues Band have entertained crowds in renowned jazz clubs, local dives, outskirts bistros, 5-star restaurants, and even funky art galleries.
